BEGINNING...
For Families, Caregivers and Teachers.
This video is the core behind every design and project that BEMU (Beyond Emotions) has created and will create. It's based on many years of research and experiences I went through with children.
One of the main books that supported my journey is The Whole-Brain Child, written by the psychologists Daniel Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson.
The beginning is just a conflict: the discovery of our Emotional Rainbow. WELCOME TO BEYOND EMOTIONS.
ABOUT ME
As an Industrial Designer, I am passionate about crafting new possibilities for how we live, co-create, and grow alongside children. My journey is rooted in seven years of deep, hands-on immersion in childcare, an experience that allowed me to observe firsthand the intricate emotional landscapes of children and how they mirror the patterns we carry as adults.
Driven by a desire to bridge the gap between design and emotional well-being, I complemented this practical experience with self-directed studies in psychology, Buddhist philosophy, and spirituality. This unique blend of field experience and ancient wisdom has given me a profound appreciation for the link between emotional awareness and human flourishing.
This insight led to the creation of BEYOND EMOTIONS, a design-led initiative that develops interactive kits to support children’s emotional journeys. At BEYOND EMOTIONS, our mission is to empower families, educators, and therapists with innovative tools that nurture emotional intelligence, foster genuine connection, and inspire a life guided by empathy, love, and joy.
